SmugMug > all-time keyword > alpenglow > Most people drive right by many of the roads that wind their way into the Eastern Sierra Nevada Range on their way to Mammoth or Yosemite. Just west of Bishop is an alpine lakes area where you can drive right to North lake, Sabrina Lake and South Lake. We were on the road in the dark early morning to catch the alpen glow reflected in North lake. We were there just before the fishermen angling for trout along the far shore.
